Tea-Infused Blueberry Ginger Fizz
Ingredients:
- 4 cups water
- 3 black tea bags (or any robust tea of your choice)
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries, more for garnish
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- 1/4 cup honey or to taste
- Juice of 2 limes
- Sparkling water or club soda
- Ice cubes
- Mint leaves for garnish
Instructions:
1. Brew the Tea:
- Bring water to a boil and pour over the tea bags in a large pitcher. Allow to steep for about 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags.
2. Infuse with Blueberries and Ginger:
- While the tea is still hot, add the fresh blueberries, grated ginger, and honey. Stir well until the honey dissolves and slightly mash the blueberries to release their juice.
3. Cool and Strain:
- Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled. Once chilled, strain the mixture to remove the blueberries and ginger pulp, leaving a clear tea infusion.
4. Add Lime Juice:
- Stir in the fresh lime juice after the mixture is chilled and strained.
5. Serve:
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the tea infusion over the ice, filling about two-thirds of the glass. Top each glass with sparkling water or club soda to add fizz.
6. Garnish and Enjoy:
- Garnish with fresh blueberries, a slice of lime, and mint leaves. Stir gently before serving.
