Cucumber Mint Iced Green Tea
Ingredients:
- 4 cups of water
- 4 green tea bags (or your preferred tea bags)
- 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup of honey or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 cup of fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
- Ice cubes
- Cucumber slices for garnish
- Mint sprigs for garnish
Instructions:
- Boil Water: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a large saucepan.
- Brew Tea: Remove from heat and add the green tea bags and fresh mint leaves. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.
- Sweeten: Remove the tea bags and mint leaves. Stir in the honey or simple syrup while the tea is still warm, ensuring it dissolves completely.
- Cool Down: Let the tea cool to room temperature. You can speed up the process by placing the tea in the refrigerator.
- Add Cucumber: Once the tea is cool, add the cucumber slices. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes to infuse the cucumber flavor.
- Serve Over Ice: Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the cucumber mint tea over the ice.
- Garnish and Enjoy: Garnish with additional cucumber slices and mint sprigs. Serve immediately and enjoy a refreshing glass of cucumber mint iced green tea.
