Jasmine Tea and Citrus Mocktail
Ingredients:
- 2 cups water
- 2 jasmine tea bags
- 1/4 cup honey (or to taste)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 lime
- Juice of 1 orange
- Sparkling water or club soda
- Ice cubes
- Lemon, lime, and orange slices for garnish*
- Mint leaves for garnish
Instructions:
1. Brew the Tea:
- Bring water to a boil and pour over the jasmine tea bags in a heatproof pitcher. Let steep for 5 to 7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
2. Sweeten the Tea:
- Stir in the honey while the tea is still warm so it dissolves easily. Adjust the amount based on your preferred sweetness.
3. Add Citrus Juices:
- Once the tea has cooled, add the freshly squeezed lemon, lime, and orange juices to the pitcher.
4. Chill:
- Refrigerate the mixture until it's thoroughly chilled, at least 1 hour.
5. Prepare the Mocktail:
- Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the chilled tea and citrus mixture over the ice, filling the glasses about three-quarters full.
6. Add Sparkling Water:
- Top off each glass with sparkling water or club soda to add fizz and make the mocktail more refreshing.
7. Garnish and Serve:
- Garnish with slices of lemon, lime, and orange and a few mint leaves.
This Jasmine Tea and Citrus Mocktail offers a delightful blend of flavors that are both invigorating and soothing, making it a great choice for guests who are looking for something special without alcohol.
