Peach Rosemary Iced Tea
This refreshing iced tea combines the sweet juiciness of peaches with the aromatic herb rosemary for a unique and flavorful drink.
Ingredients:
- 4-6 black tea bags
- 6 cups water
- 2 ripe peaches, sliced
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- 1/4 cup sugar (optional)
- Lime wedges, for garnish
- Ice cubes
Instructions:
- Brew the tea: Steep tea bags in boiling water for 5-7 minutes. Remove tea bags and let tea cool completely.
- Infuse with peach and rosemary: Add sliced peaches and rosemary sprig to the cooled tea. Let steep for at least 1 hour, or overnight for a stronger flavor.
- Sweeten (optional): Add sugar to the tea and stir until dissolved.
- Strain and chill: Strain the tea to remove peach slices and rosemary. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until chilled.
- Serve: Fill glasses with ice and pour over chilled tea. Garnish with lime wedges.
Tips:
- For a sweeter tea, add a splash of peach nectar or juice.
- You can also use frozen peaches for a thicker, more smoothie-like texture.
- Experiment with different herbs, such as mint or thyme, for a variation in flavor.
Enjoy your peach rosemary iced tea!
